'Vodafone UK confirms launch of new smartphones'(DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Vodafone UK has confirmed the launch of two new smartphones - the Vodafone 360 Samsung H1 and the BlackBerry Storm 2. The Vodafone 360 Samsung H1 can be ordered online from 15 October and will provide users with access to the new Vodafone 360 range of internet services. It has a 3.5-in HD OLED screen, 16 GB memory, Wi-Fi, GPS and 5-megapixel camera. Available from 30 October, the Vodafone 360 Samsung H1 will be free on 24 month contracts of GBP 35 per month and above. Meanwhile, the operator is now accepting online pre-orders for the new BlackBerry Storm 2 from Research In Motion (RIM), which will be available from 26 October. It will be offered free on pay monthly price plans from GBP 35 with 600 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited BlackBerry Internet Service, unlimited Vodafone Mobile Internet and broadband on a 24 month contract.
