Mid-Atlantic Companies to Showcase Latest Technology Products at the 2010 International CES

ARLINGTON, Va. --(Business Wire)-- More than 100 consumer electronics companies headquartered in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States will showcase their latest technology at the 2010 International CES (News - Alert)® - the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow. The 2010 International CES runs January 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among more than 2,500 CES exhibitors, a record number of first time exhibitors are expected to reveal their latest CE products to more than 110,000 attendees.

"We're using CES to launch YoGen, our first consumer product because it offers an unparalleled mix of opportunities to showcase our products," said Alison Morrison, global sales and marketing representative for Williamsburg, Virginia based Easy Energy, Inc., manufacturer of the YoGen line of fully-sustainable, handheld chargers. "Through CES, we can impact, and meet with, distributors, retailers, component manufacturers, marketing partners and, of course, the media." The 2010 CES will host new CE Spotlights on the show floor, including new destinations: EHX@CES, a dedicated show experience with free manufacturer training, an exclusive attendee reception, complimentary access to the high-performance audio demo rooms and CE Pro Headquarters; iLounge Pavilion will feature iPod, iPhone (News - Alert) and Macintosh related products and technologies; and Living in Digital Times, which turns the concept of a traditional exhibit upside-down with focus on technology that's relevant to particular lifestyles. After successful launches of Kids@Play and the Silvers Summit, Living in Digital Times has added the Digital Health Summit, Mommy Tech and HigherEd TechZones.

"The upcoming 2010 CES will be our first time exhibiting at the event, which is appropriate considering this year also marks the debut of the new Ebook TechZone," said Patrick Mish, founder, president and CEO of M-Edge Accessories, based in Odenton, Maryland. "As a leading developer of eReader accessories, CES is the perfect opportunity for M-Edge to showcase our new product launches, including a new line of accessories for Sony Readers, Amazon Kindle and the Barnes and Noble Nook, as well as a new product that will allow eReader users to take their device where they never could before." Other must-see attractions at the 2010 CES include: The Gaming Showcase featuring gaming hardware and software with the entire range of consumer electronics products from online PC and HD gaming, plasma HDTV and home theater furniture to surround sound and power conditioning hardware; Location Based Services(LBS), which includes the Safe Driver TechZone, serves as the premiere location for providers of custom technologies, services and advertising sent to portable and in-car navigation devices, based on their current locations; and Sustainable Planet the hot spot for world-changing technologies, whether benefiting the environment, utilizing new forms of sustainable energy, renewing our resources, or contributing to the development of nations both on and off the grid.

The 2010 International CES will host 20 market-specific TechZones throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center. These TechZones will highlight the latest in 3D Technology, Digital Health, eBooks, Netbooks, Robotics and much more.

"We're thrilled to launch our market changing device to the distinguished, tech-savvy attendees at CES because it's a target audience of industry influencers who are in the know about the latest technology," said Asghar Mostafa, CEO and president of McLean, Virginia based enTourage Systems, Inc. "Our enTourage eDGe is unlike anything available today. It's a hybrid e-reader, netbook, notepad and audio/video player and recorder, giving students, professionals and everyday consumers the means to control their digital needs from a central device, no matter where they are." The CES conference program kicks off on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, featuring more than 250 conference sessions with 800 top tier speakers. The conference program unites the industry's most respected experts to address the latest trends, strategies and profit opportunities in consumer technology.
