21st Century Insurance Uses Keynote to Ensure High Performance for Its 21st.com Website
SAN MATEO, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Keynote®
Systems, Inc., (NASDAQ:KEYN), the global leader in mobile
and web cloud testing & monitoring, today announced that 21st
Century Insurance is using Keynote
Internet Testing Environment (KITE), Keynote Transaction
Perspective®, and Keynote Performance
Insights to ensure that customers nationwide receive uniformly high
performance and availability from its 21st.com
customer-facing website.
"Auto insurance is an extremely competitive marketplace, so providing an
excellent customer experience on our site is critical. Keynote gives us
peace of mind knowing that our site is available and performing well for
our customers, regardless of their geographic location-and that if
there's a problem we'll be alerted quickly," said Aaron Shaffer, Web
analytics manager at 21st Century. "We've also had the unexpected
benefit of being able to understand the latency of third-party content
on our site. If there's a problem, we can identify it, inform the
vendor, and remove their tag (News - Alert) from our site until they get the problem
fixed."
21st Century uses KITE to develop test scripts and Transaction
Perspective to simulate key business transactions at regular intervals
from multiple geographic locations nationwide to monitor availability
and performance on an ongoing basis. Keynote Performance Insights helps
the company update their test measurements, interpret performanc trends
and optimize the site based on ongoing test data.
"For us, one of the biggest advantages of working with Keynote is that
they not only provide monitoring products but also consulting services,"
said Shaffer. "Keynote consultants enable us to improve our test scripts
on an ongoing basis and provide insight into the data to better optimize
our site for customers and prospects alike."
"Many customers like 21st Century find that customer-facing websites are
a critical sales and support channel. Excellent performance and
availability of these sites from any customer location is critical to
delivering the best possible customer experience," said Vik Chaudhary,
vice president of product management and corporate development at
Keynote. "Keynote solutions were developed specifically to enable
companies like 21st Century to optimize their site in order to deliver
top-notch performance and quickly troubleshoot and fix any problems that
may occur - regardless of whether the site problem is under the
customer's direct control or due to content being served by a
third-party provider."
