NEXCOM Expands NDiS Family with New Flagship Digital Signage Player M532

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Fremont, CA (PRWEB) November 19, 2012 NEXCOM expands its digital signage family with a new flagship digital signage modular player - the NDiS M532. The M532 is based on the 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processor family and follows the electrical and mechanical specifications of the Open Pluggable Specification (OPS). The M532 can be plugged into any OPS-complaint display devices to render rich multimedia contents. Thanks to the modular and cable-less design and advanced built-in remote management function, the M532 satisfies the need for quick deployment and hassle-free maintenance of large digital signage network dispersed in different geographical locations.

The M532 is powered by the 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processor family paired with Mobile Intel® QM77 Express Chipset. The digital signage player has an integrated Intel® HD Graphics 4000 and supports Microsoft DirectX 11. Taking advantage of the latest Intel technology, the M532 can accelerate video anglicizing, 3D rendering, image processing and video decoding to provide highly personalized information based on the result of audience measurement to deliver accurate marketing message to target audience.

In addition, the M532 supports 3 x independent display with 2x 1080P and 720P via HDMI/DP interface. With the ability to drive three displays without requiring discrete hardware, this digital signage player delivers more with less hardware, which reduces overall cost and power consumption.

Positioned as a network player, the M532 has extended remote management to hardware level. Combining Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT) 8.0 and Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) function, the M532 offers users out-of-band access to hardware status check and to system restore via wired LAN, cellular and Wi-Fi network. Display brightness and volume can also be adjusted over the network. Furthermore, USB 3.0 provides a tenfold increase in data transfer rate, which is supported by the M532 that saves time for field maintenance technicians.

Following open pluggable specification, the M532 features high hardware compatibility and easy plug-in installation. Using an 80-pin JAE connector to support OPS-compliant display, CEC control signal and power supply, the M532 simplifies digital signage installation whilst lowering installation costs. This feature is also handy for player replacement.
