Cincinnati Bell is also considering upgrading their current Wi-Fi hotspots to higher speed 802.11n using Ruckus Wireless Smart Wi-Fi. At one college campus in particular, with Ruckus ZoneFlex 802.11n products, Cincinnati Bell is supporting an average download of 440 gigabytes within a 24-hour period from only 100 students and their devices. However, Wi-Fi as a best effort access technology is no longer acceptable to business customers and subscribers now armed with powerful, new, Wi-Fi-enabled tablet devices and smart phones.
