SIMCom Renews Contract with Red Bend for Over-the-Air Updates on M2M Modules

Red Bend Software, the market leader in Mobile Software Management (MSM) with more than 1.6 billion Red Bend-Enabled™ devices, today announced that SIMCom Wireless Solutions Co. Ltd., the leading global wireless module market share holder, has renewed its license for Red Bend's vRapid Mobile® to provide firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updating software on its machine-to-machine (M2M) modules. SIMCom's wireless modules are prominent in several vertical markets including automotive, tracking and tracing and mobile payments.
