Technet to Distribute TOA Electronics Products On Ugandan Market


(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) TechNet, an audio- visual solutions company and TOA Electric Corporation, a Japanese electronics company announced a partnership in which the former will be distributing the latter's high profile electronic products on the Ugandan market. TOA's Ralph Singer, the national sales and marketing manager for Sub-Saharan Africa said at the unveiling of the company's products in Kampala on Aug. 27 that the company has got over 4, 000 high quality products which will be available to the users in Uganda.



The products include; integrated Voice Evacuation Systems, Public Address (PA) Systems, IP Intercom Systems, Conference Systems, Background and Foreground Music Systems and a wide range of Prosound / AV related products such as Microphones, Wireless Microphones, Digital Mixers, Ceiling Speakers, Cabinet Speakers, Array Speakers, Mixer Amplifiers, Digital Amplifiers and Portable / Mobile PA Systems and Megaphones. Singer said their entry into Uganda is part of their expansion programme that will see more markets in Africa easily access their products.

"We believe there is a big opportunity for us in Uganda," he told The Independent on the sidelines of the Aug. 27 event, "I am not worried about competition." He said TOA trains its distributors on how to market the products to prime customers "and that has been one of the factors that have seen us grow over time".


"We are very strict on our delivery routes Singer said," adding you cannot easily duplicate our products.

TOA Corporation was established in Kobe, Japan in 1934 and is currently operating in over 150 countries across the world. Recently, TOA equipment has been installed into many prestigious international sports facilities such as Wimbledon, Crystal Palaces' Selhurst Park Stadium, Manchester United Stadium, The Cherries Bournemouth AFCl, Hampshire Cricket Club and Stade du France.
