ZTE Presents M-ICT Innovations to German Vice-Chancellor Gabriel and Chinese Vice-Premier Ma

Mr. Gabriel, who also serves as Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, and Mr. Ma led senior officials of Germany and China in a tour of ZTE's exhibition at CeBIT, where they were introduced to ZTE's world-leading solutions including wireless charging for electric vehicles and 4G air-to-ground broadband.

Shi Lirong, President and Chief Executive Officer of ZTE, delivered a keynote address at the China-Germany Entrepreneurs' Dialogue at CeBIT, highlighting the potential for deeper collaboration between companies in the two countries in areas including electric vehicles and alternative energy. Mr. Ma and Wolfgang Schaeuble, Finance Minister of Germany, officiated at the China-Germany Entrepreneurs' Dialogue event, which was attended by business leaders from the two countries.

In 2014, ZTE strengthened its telecommunications services capabilities in Germany after completing the acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert) Network Services GmbH. ZTE's world-leading telecommunications solutions are deployed by German operators including Deutsche Telekom and O2 (News - Alert) Germany.

China is the official Partner Country of CeBIT 2015. The motto of CeBIT 2015, "d!conomy", is well-aligned with the growing cooperation in technology innovation between China and Germany, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said in his video address to the conference.
