Zayo Colocation Inc., also known as zColo, provider of carrier-neutral, interconnection focused colocation services across 11 domestic locations and wholly owned subsidiary of Zayo Group, has announced its support for the expanded Point-of-Presence (PoP) of PCCW Global (News - Alert), provider of integrated global communications solutions and subsidiary of Hong Kong based PCCW Limited.
In a release, Marc Halbfinger, CEO at PCCW Global, said, "PCCW Global has been continuously strengthening its global network and the new PoP in zColo's well-connected data center provides customers with enhanced coverage and increased diversity options."
Customers will now be able to benefit from the extensive suite of PCCW Global's products and services such as video, IP, transmission, and voice solutions through the newly expanded PoP which will be provided with power and colocation space from zColo. The company will also provide interconnection support for PCCW Global across the colocation facility and to other carriers via its riser and cross connect platform.
Steven Finnerty, VP of Sales for zColo, said, "PCCW Global is an important service provider who will expand the network options and services available to our customers. zColo will be able to support PCCW Global's growth and expansion in the U.S."
