Ace Data Devices Launches Cloud Optimized Backup Vault

India based Ace Data Devices Pvt. Ltd (Ace Data), with the technical support of Toronto, Canada-based Asigra Inc, has launched a next generation, cloud-based backup and recovery solution “Backup Vault” for Indian businesses.

Officials with Ace Data said that Backup Vault – is a next generation SLA driven solution designed to free the IT administrator from the challenges of managing agents, backup schedules and polices and multimedia media for daily backup.



According to company officials, Ace Data is one of the first organizations in the country to address the Indian market for such a product.

“The complexities involved in the management of the data protection are numerous. Backup Vault is positioned as an answer to such complexities,” said Neeraj Mediratta, chief executive officer of Ace Data, in a statement.  

Ace Data Devices claims to be India's only data storage expert.

Mediratta said that Backup Vault is multi-featured solution with an optimized architecture which resolves concerns such as bandwidth utilization, data security and recovery.

“The solution comes with committed recovery assurance,” he said.

He said that as a premier storage integrator, the company provides the critical link between the customer and the manufacturer that ensures successful implementations utilizing comprehensive project management.

 “Service with Backup Vault is the most economical, secure and automatic way to insure your data,” said Mediratta.

Company officials pointed out that Backup Vault is expected to provide benefits such has architecture for backing up desktops, laptops and servers including online backup of databases, de-duplication of data travelling on cloud, AES 256 bit encryption compliant with SOX, HIPPA, Basel II and FIS standards, automatic archiving of older backups on low cost disks & deletion of older backup with destruction certificates and local data backup and faster recoveries.
