VisualOn (News - Alert), a multimedia software company that enables high-quality video and audio across connected devices, has partnered with DMM.com to deliver high class multimedia content across mobile platform in Japan.

DMM.com is an overall entertainment site providing online digital content distribution, online DVD rentals and sales. DMM.com has more than 300,000 titles and users can get any video content they like by downloading it. DMM.com also supports smartphone delivery. Through this partnership, DMM.com has integrated VisualOn’s OnStream MediaPlayer+, a solution enabling high-quality audio and visual playback across devices, to its DMM Player for Android (News - Alert).  

VisualOn’s technology will allow DMM.com to securely and efficiently deliver media across the fragmented Android ecosystem, regardless of varying streaming protocols, operating systems and hardware capabilities.

Cai also noted that OnStream MediaPlayer+ is a scalable solution that enables customers like DMM.com to deliver rich media to more users.
