Effortel SA, a mobile virtual network enabler, reportedly has selected Amdocs compact convergence to support the launch of low-cost mobile virtual network operator offering in Taiwan.
Officials at Amdocs (News - Alert) said that the Taiwan deployment not only expands the company’s relationship with Effortel, but it also extends its ability to support multiple MVNOs on a single centralized Amdocs Compact Convergence (News - Alert) platform.
Compact Convergence, officials said, is a network-connected, integrated suite that includes convergent real-time charging, service delivery, customer care, and self-care for launching cost-effective, mobile services, including MVNE/Os.
“The new MVNO site in Taiwan is a compelling example of how Amdocs Compact Convergence allows us to extend and adapt our operations easily, quickly and cost effectively to support additional MVNOs and subscribers in any market, regardless of their location and localization requirements – and all using a single platform,” said Liudvikas Andriulis, chief marketing officer of Effortel.
Amdocs officials said that Compact Convergence can support Effortel’s roll-out of new operations and services, and provide its customers with the ability to rate and charge for them in real time, while personalizing customer-care and self-care Web screens to support different brands, languages, currencies and customer logic.
Due to which officials added, each MVNO maintains its own separate identity, brand, currency, and customer-care definitions with security and reliability.
Amdocs is a major player in customer experience systems innovation, enabling world-leading service providers to deliver an integrated, innovative and intentional customer experience at every point of service.
The company says it provides solutions that deliver “customer experience excellence,” combining the software, services and expertise to help its customers execute their strategies and achieve service, operational and financial excellence.
Earlier this month, Vimpel-Communications, a provider of communications services to approximately 60 million customers in Russia and in the Commonwealth of Independent States, and Amdocs had announced the deployment of a comprehensive Amdocs solution incorporating billing, customer management and self-service capabilities at its wholly-owned subsidiary in Armenia – ArmenTel.
The Amdocs software replaced several legacy systems and provides ArmenTel with convergent support across wireless and wireline voice and data offerings to improve operational efficiencies, expedite the introduction of new services and attractive and complex tariffs, and drive profitability.
