The Korean Telemedicine Consortium is scheduled to take place on December 5th-6th at National Harbor, Maryland. The conference which is free for all to attend has been sponsored by the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency. The mHealth Summit is also being held together with the Korean Telemedicine Consortium.

The Korean Telemedicine Consortium will include five of the top South Korean telehealth companies. Prospective buyers and partners will therefore have opportunities for one-on-one meeting with the companies for their products. The Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, Azalea Conference Hall #1 is the venue for the event which will be held from 10am-5pm on both the days.

The exciting event can be attended for free by American and global companies and professionals in the healthcare and medical technology industries. Business collaboration opportunities will be discussed by the top heads from the U.S. and South Korea. The latest mobile healthcare technology will be therefore brought to the marketplace. Independent agents and firms in the biotech industry are specifically required by the five South Korean companies. These companies are also interested in potential partnerships.

The Korean Telemedicine Consortium will include products from H3 System, BioSpace, DongJin Medical, Cymedi and Insung Information. Health data from measuring devices are received by the tele-healthcare systems of H3 System. Mobile networks are used to transmit the data into a healthcare center. “InBody” is a non-invasive full body measurement from BioSpace. In-depth results are obtained with this product in less than one minute.

“i-Scope 200” is an innovative digital stethoscope and auscultation from DongJin Medical. Up to 70 potential health concerns can be predicted with Cymedi’s Portable Urine Analyzer. Interactive communication between an automatic electronic blood pressure meter and wireless medical devices has been activated by the first Korean medical device, “Hicare” from Insung Information. An external interface is used for the communication.
