Clavis Technologies UbizValley Signs MoU to Develop RFID-Enabled Mobile Service System

Clavis Technologies Co., Ltd., a wholly owned Korea-based subsidiary of Clavis Technologies International Co., Ltd. and a global provider of RFID technology enabled solutions, signed a memorandum of understanding with UbizValley to develop its RFID Mobile service system. A recipient of the 2010 Global ICT Public Section Excellence Award from World Congress on Information technology (WCIT), UbizValley has developed a mobile web site to be used in a Fixed Mobile Convergence (News - Alert) (FMC) environment for public institutions, telecommunications and enterprises.



Clavis Technologies’ RFID based offering include business processes that are based on the EPCglobal standards to various industrial markets. The company has an impressive client portfolio with clients such as IBM Korea, SKC, Alien Technology Asia, KT (News - Alert) Networks.

In a press release, Clavis said that the agreement aims at extending the adoption of RFID technologies in the RFID Mobile business areas. Under the agreement, Clavis has to secure a partner to focus on R&D in mobile solutions. Clavis Technologies will develop the RFID system with applications while UbizValley will develop the mobile and Internet programs within the RFID system.

“We are excited to join forces with UbizValley to create its RFID mobile service system. With our expertise in RFID technologies and their experience in internet technology for RFID, I believe that this will be a very successful endeavor which will lead to increased business in this area in the future,” CEO of Clavis Technologies, commented Hwan Sup Lee commented in a statement.

Earlier last month Clavis Technologies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bizmodeline Inc. to develop its RFID-enabled Near Field Communications (NFC) business.

“We are very excited to enter into this agreement with Bizmodeline. The RFID/NFC market is growing due to the vitalization of smart phone-equipment through finance, distribution, circulation and other industries. We believe that we can offer great value by incorporating our RFID technology into the global Near Field Communications industry which is growing very rapidly throughout the world,” Hwan Sup Lee commented in an earlier release.
